CarCharging + Honeywell International Partnering For Workplace EV Charging
CarCharging (Car Charging Group) and Honeywell International have
partnered for the implementation of Blink electric vehicle (EV) charging
infrastructure at the Honeywell offices in Phoenix, Arizona, according
to a recent press release.
The new deal between the two companies will see CarCharging operate
and maintain several Blink Level 2 EV charging stations for employee use
at the Honeywell offices.

Reportedly, the reason that Honeywell is having the Blink EV
chargers installed for use by its employees is as "a demonstration of
the company's commitment to corporate citizenship, which includes
protection of the environment everywhere it operates, as well as its
Sustainable Opportunity policy, which integrates health, safety, and
environmental considerations into all aspects of its business."
The installation is also, according to the company, part of its push
to reduce greenhouse gas emissions - presumably this is via the
encouragement of electric vehicle (EV) usage rather than conventional
gasoline and/or diesel using transportation. This being the case, it
seems likely that the company will continue to expand on this recent
move, bringing such charging stations to the company's facilities
elsewhere as well.
"As a leader and innovator in the aerospace industry, Honeywell is
an ideal host for workplace charging," stated Michael D Farkas,
CarCharging's Founder and CEO. "Blink EV chargers demonstrate their
leadership role and commitment to sustainable initiatives as well as
innovative technologies."
